ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Country Manager for Brazil, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our client’s operations in the region. This includes developing strategic plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering top-tier customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the iGaming industry, a deep understanding of the Brazilian market, and proficiency in both Portuguese and English.
What You’ll Do:
- Market Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to establish and expand the company’s presence in Brazil.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement localized marketing initiatives and promotional.
- Operational & Customer Support Management:
- Lead a dedicated team responsible for customer support, risk management, and operational activities tailored to the Brazilian market.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring service quality and swift resolution of issues.
- Implement best practices to enhance player retention, engagement, and loyalty.
- Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure all operations align with Brazilian iGaming regulations and standards.
- Monitor regulatory changes in the Brazilian betting sector and adjust business practices accordingly.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to manage necessary licensing and reporting.
- Financial & Performance Management:
- Establish and track performance metrics (KPIs) for the Brazilian market.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to maintain profitability.
- Provide regular updates on market performance and insights to senior leadership.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a results-driven team focused on the Brazilian market.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other country managers and departments to share learnings and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry.
- Proven track record in managing operations, preferably in the sports betting or iGaming sector.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Brazilian betting laws, customer preferences, and market dynamics.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional or remote teams.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with Brazilian payment methods, marketing channels, and local affiliations.
- Experience with CRM systems, risk management tools, and customer support platforms.
- Background in digital marketing, affiliate management, or acquisition strategies.
